In the small city i was born and raised in was an old Church we went to every sunday at 6 am the bell would ring and call everyone to church it did this for over 50 years eventually it was replaced , but they did not get ride of it . instead they moved it outside on a stand with a roof  i remember hearing it every sunday and when it was put outside i would go to it every sunday and tap it to hear it before going inside .when i was older and an adult i went to see it the church and bell were still there . It was i walked up to it said hello and tapped it like i always had and it rang back as if saying hello glad to see you again . that was over 50 years ago . I think i may have to go home and se if it is still there . and it is say  hello with a tap like i did when i was a little boy .
