Anne and Emily looked like two little girls on stage.
Their laughs were so cute.
Meryl looked like a proud mother when she saw them. XD

This is how you showcase Costume Design nominees! I wish they did this every year.

She went from proud mom too Miranda in seconds!!!😂

So Meryl was able to play the part she was nominated for during the Oscars ceremony. That's real dedication.

Meryl is hilarious! She snapped right into character with a stone cold face!

I LOVE Emily and Anne's intro and Meryl, but can we talk about how cool it was that for that the Oscars decided to bring the costumes onstage and have people model them instead of showing them in the movie clips like they do these days? Would love for them to bring this back

I've watched this just for Emily and Anne's intro bit. And then hit rewind half a million times just to see Meryl doing her "Miranda" face

Marie Antoinette totally deserved it. The amount of creativity and effort that was put into hundreds of different dresses for that movie is astonishing. The wardrobe, soundtrack, and direction/cinematography is what makes Marie Antoinette my favorite movie of all time.

Marie Antoinette did deserve it. Years later, we know the immense impact the movie had on the fashion world and has inspired so many collections already, purely based on the costumes. None of the other movies did that.
