Take a Virtual 360° walk through Waikiki, Oʻahu on September 27, 2026, while Hurricane Nolo was passing well south of the Hawaiian Islands. 🌬️🌴
Our main reason for filming this walk was to show what Waikiki actually looked like during the storm. It was very windy, with strong gusts, but during our walk we did not experience heavy rain or flooding.
We start at Kapiolani Park and walk to Queen's Beach, then continue along Kalakaua Avenue to Waikiki Wall — also known as Walls — Kuhio Beach, Waikiki Beach and the Kuhio Beach Hula Mound. We finish behind Waikiki Bistro and the Waikiki Police Station.
Hurricane Nolo remained hundreds of miles south of Honolulu as it moved westward, so Waikiki did not experience the hurricane's core during this walk.
