Today I'm painting some mini landscapes with woodland and trees in winter colours. These make great Christmas card projects. I'm painting these to get ideas for this week's step-by-step tutorial which will be up on Friday and will also feature a wintry woodland.

I really love the misty trees! And the minimalist one with the birds. That green paper really sets off these paintings. Love Love Love!

I’m a newbie and I might be able to do these. My favorite is the forest with the snow. Love it and thank you for doing these. I would love to see more tiny paintings

I've just moved to the forest from the desert, and I will decorate my room with some miniatures of these. I think they are lovely. Thank you

These miniature arboreal masterpieces are a delight! 🌲

I'm acutely aware that painting, talking us through what you're doing live, and making sure your hands are at the right angle for us to see is quite the juggling act for you to accomplish. 😵‍💫🤯
Thanks so much for sharing your skills and tips with us so generously, Lou. 🤍

I love all of these, but funnily enough my favourite was the one you thought too busy!! Would love to see these ideas in larger format tutorials! 🥰

Thank you for sharing these…❤
I just saw one of the flocks of geese flying south over our house right as I was watching this… I think I’ll paint geese in their classic flying formation in mine ❤

Those are so cute! I would love to see more mini paintings. I'm a beginner and simple pictures would be nice for some. Thank you

Very nice; fun! The 'busy' one is my favorite. Oh, and the simplest or starkest scene is right up there too 😍
