The ORF III satire show with Gerald Fleischhacker takes a more reflective turn this time: Christmas is, as everyone knows, not only the festival of love, but also of family gatherings, cooking disasters, and interpersonal challenges. At the ORF RadioKulturhaus, Gerald Fleischhacker, Viktor Gernot, Angelika Niedetzky, Lydia Prenner-Kasper, Herbert Steinböck, and Isabell Pannagl reminisce about their funniest Christmas experiences – and humor, as we all know, always helps, not just on Christmas Eve.

Gerald Fleischhacker loves the Advent season, and every year he's particularly fascinated by the extraordinary hot drink creations: "Regular punch, turbo punch, double turbo punch, and the ultimate indulgence: the Stenzel punch." He also finds opening presents with the little ones challenging – especially when Santa Claus has forgotten the battery for the toys. "I ended up connecting it to the car battery – at least the Christmas tree didn't go up in flames."

Gerald Fleischhacker loves the Advent season, and every year he's fascinated by the extraordinary hot drink creations: "Regular punch, turbo punch, double turbo punch, and the ultimate indulgence: the Stenzel punch." Angelika Niedetzky feels transported back to her childhood this year: "I finally believe in Santa Claus again. I mean, what else are you supposed to believe in in Austria? The government?" The cabaret artist also offers practical tips on how to make teenagers happy at Christmas and what you definitely shouldn't do with those chocolate Santas.

Viktor Gernot loves Christmas and also revels in memories of his childhood filled with stories and poems. The audience favorite follows in the footsteps of Otto Schenk, wonders how André Heller will be spending Christmas this year, why the first snowflakes in Vienna are guaranteed to cause traffic chaos every year, and recounts the wonderful story of the fourth of the Three Wise Men by Michael Haas.

Since almost all Austrians had to forgo company Christmas parties this year, Herbert Steinböck is reviving a legendary sketch: the company party at Vienna-Hütteldorf train station, which went a little awry.

... The scent of mulled wine fills the air when Lydia Prenner-Kasper checks in from the branch office at Vienna's City Hall Square. "For me, a Christmas market means drinking punch until you like all the felt things," she says. She also performs her wickedly funny song "The Most Beautiful Day of the Year"—which, for the star cabaret artist, is when Christmas is finally over.

For the grand finale, Isabell Pannagl, one of the country's funniest up-and-coming comedians, recounts the worst gifts she's ever received (keyword: meat tenderizer). Unlike many, however, she's delighted with her grandma's socks: "They're the only item of clothing that still fits after four days of feasting!" The other customs, traditions, and experiences of Christmas that can only be dealt with through humor are also satirically explored by the Knights of the Round Table, accompanied by the best Christmas songs from the "Round Table" band. Now Christmas can truly begin!
