WHY?
Well I booked one of the top 5 star cruises that travelled the main areas of Lan ha bay, Cat ba and Ha long bay in order to find out whether the expensive price is actually worth it. I heard many mixed reviews about the world famous heritage site and wanted to find out for my self if it is still worth visiting or is there better areas now? And does it make a difference by doing it on a 5 star cruise?

So awesome Jack, the velvet room looking lush. The scenery doesn't look half bad either. When I'm flush with money like you I'll have to give the cruise lifestyle a go! Great way to break up backpacking.

Hi Jack. That boat trip was looking lush. i am very like you out of my comfort zone when things are bit on the posh side. i would be frightened to make a mess lol. Brilliant vlog as always and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Nope i didn't yawn lol shame about the rubbish in the water, but it worked to your advantage with the jacuzzi to yourself :goodvibes:

Lan Ha Bay is way more beautiful and cleaner Ha Long Bay. It's a shame that trash is all over the heritage.
BTW, your video is nice and fun to watch as always. Keep up, mate!

Go do ha gaing loop, nha trang snorkeling, tam Dao mountain, tuyen quang overnight 3 waterfalls. Btw cat ba had a floating market and fishing market floating, surprised you didn't do.

We are just into our 70s and intend are going to Viet Nam next year in March.
Looking at your video it apprears to be all younger people so I was wondering if the cruise isnt suitable for the older generation although we are still fit enough and have no mobility issues at all

We did a one night cruis and the thing that i thought of was it was so many boat tours for two days to those sites seen here. Next time i gona skip some or take a two night cruise. Halong truly worth it. If u go ther after a storm or ruff weather it may be alot of styrofoam on the surface. Its the fishfarms using it trying to make a living. When i was there it was fine. Going to Vietnam next week and maybe Ha Long again!

Would you say this only applies to Ha Long Bay? I've heard Lan Ha Bay is an alternative with much fewer tourists, cleaner water while offering the same views.
