John Foxx the man of the future. Brilliant 👍
Back in 1979 I was at a party at one of my art college tutors houses who'd been at the Royal College of Art with John Foxx. John was there, and my mate and I were sitting on the stairs when John started walking down, trying to get past us. Every ounce of me wanted to chat to him, but he had a quiet, almost shy presence about him that I didn't want to invade, so I moved to let him past - he thanked me, and I'd missed my chance :(
Very interesting and enjoyable.
He’s been an inspiration to my own music Writing over the years. Excellent work
Many thanks 😁👍
Always been a massive fan especially his early Ultravox years seen him live years back in the 80’s tin can in Brum he played all the classics
Great to hear all the early influences (warm leatherette )also massive Numan Fan
I’m looking at all the Ultravox albums on display on my bedroom wall
What a fantastic era such fond memories ❤🎸👍🏼
Metamatic was very minimal but effective
After The Garden a tad repetitive
A lovely man but anyone who recognises Gary Spewman needs attention
Numan is a joke his music is beyond banal and inane
Anyone who claims to be vapour has problems perhaps he aspires to live in a kettle
But 3 superb lps with Ultravox! And Metamatic plus the Garden is very worthy’s
Leave the ambience to Eno a man who can put together the elements required
