If they can renegotiate the extension part of that contract not give him so much guarantee money if he gets hurt I’d keep him.

I totally agree with Earl.  They been trashing Watson from day one and even with him playing okay to win 3 games they still nick picking him. And yet there's quarterbacks that are playing horrible.  And team Watson has beat there saying the other team had a bad game.. I'm a fan of Watson and I hated he chose the browns didn't want him there horrible organization and players and fans . You have skip hoping Watson gets hurt so sanders can play all of this sounds demonic crazy

Y’all think QBs grow on trees lol 😂 wtf is wrong with yall.

Yall realize if they extend it will cost another guarantee $200m’s.

Boy on the left voice is still gone from screaming at the Browns game.

I disagree with Earl, the Vikings GM was fired for letting Sam Darnold walk and going with JJ McCarthy.  Now you want to let good QB walk out the door with even less of a plan for fixing it?  No thanks, no more cutting off your nose to spite your face.  You forget that Watsons relationship with ownership and Berry has always been good

The thing is the browns did him a disservice. After 23 no qb had a chance we saw that other QBs in the last 2 years 😂 Flacco showed you it was the team not the qb . This is the definition of the brown are going to brown. Other teams know yall ain’t got no players only in the last 2 drafts. Every one on your team is 1 and 2 year players. That’s how u know yo team was ass

Earl is spot on!
Spencer and all the other commentators dogged and hated on Deshaun terribly. So don’t try to lessen his success so far by changing the narrative to talking about an extension. They need to deal with the fact of their hate and mean judgment on Deshaun. They wanted nothing to do with him regardless if he won every game. Take that extension distraction crap somewhere else.

He could give us a home discount like Jose Ramirez 2 years and then we draft Cammari Taylor  😂

So you saying #4 can give you a playoff season and at the end of the season you put your trust in a 5th round QB? Or a rookie? Just play the hand out.No need to sign him now, or need to scratch him off and show him the door

Watson doesn’t want to be here so contract talks are moot. Let him play well and grow the players around him

You never judge a relationship when it's going good. You have to judge him when he's not playing well. He's never been accountable for any of his actions. On and off the field.

He only started 23 games he 12 win 11 loses so he hasn’t not plsyed for 4 years he has been hurt for more games then he has played. With that said yes he and Cleveland should be a mutual happy divorce..

If the Browns keep winning with Watson at QB, especially if they make the playoffs he’s definitely getting an extension. Earl & G Bush only want to see Shedeur because of YouTube views.

Boy This is gonna get interesting if they keep winning. Question is it the media that wants  Arch manning or is it Andrew and Jimmie ?

I’ve seen enough of Watson. I’m ready for old Sanders to make his debut be out there with them. Young boys start that chemistry in year two I’ll just take the training wheels off huh? Give Watson two more games.

I mean he’s playing OK I don’t know about playing well. He’s playing a lot better than what he has been. We’ll just say that, but by no means is he out there throwing darts accuracy he needs to pick it up. He’s gonna be a little bit quicker with releasing the ball also

If he continues to win and gets 9,10 or more wins you bring him back.  You would have found something and you build on that with this young core. You work through the contract with negotiations and bring him back.
Get out of your feelings.
You were wrong about Deshaun before and now you want to double down on it.  Let it sink in to everyone how wrong Cleveland media was about Deshaun starting this year.  Maybe they’re wrong again.  I’m sure this is an unbiased an unemotional decision by them.
Letting a winning QB walk away would be something the Browns would do.  Minnesota learned that lesson.

DW has not played well enough to even think about an extension. STOP! He hasn't even put a full half together. Yet a whole game! The young players are making plays. That would literally be the Browns being the Browns.  There's no way in hell you extend him.

G Bush has brought out that if Watson is on the club next year he is guaranteed another 200 million dollars.  That is in his contract.  Why is that not highlighted?  That should be the first thing out of sport talk pundits  mouth but it is not.
