Valery Viktorovich Petukhov discusses the stupid personality type. According to A.E. Lichko's classification, these are constitutionally stupid. Psychopaths are born unintelligent and limited. Their distinguishing feature is congenital mental retardation. These individuals, unlike oligophrenics, excel academically (not only in high school but even at university), and often have a good memory. However, when they enter life, where they are forced to apply their knowledge in practice and show initiative, they fail. They display no originality and tend to utter banal, cliched statements, which is why their disorder is called "Salon Blödsinn" (from German, "salon dementia"). Eugen Bleuler used the term "die unklaren" ("unclear") to describe the same concept, emphasizing that their main characteristic is conceptual ambiguity rather than a paucity of associations. The group of constitutionally stupid people also includes "philistines"—people without spiritual (intellectual) needs or aspirations. However, they can cope well with the simple demands of a particular profession.
Constitutionally stupid psychopaths are suggestible individuals, willing to submit to "public opinion" and also prone to following fashion. They are always conservative, fearful of anything new and, out of self-defense, clinging to what they have become accustomed to and adapted to.
Constitutionally stupid people can have an inflated sense of self-importance, while at the same time, with a pompous, solemn air, uttering meaningless, complex phrases—a collection of flowery words devoid of content. A similar character appears in literature as a caricature—Kozma Prutkov.
If you feel that the world is "to blame" for your problems, perhaps this is exactly what you need to hear. A thought is not just a signal in the brain. It is a reflection of experience, subconscious processes, and even the outside world. How an intelligent person sees the world, the world through the eyes of a rational person. Traits and characteristics of highly intelligent people. The secret of intelligent people. Methods and examples of avoiding difficulties, obstacles, and problems. What avoidance leads to and how it ends. Society and community. How the expression of emotions can develop personality. How contradictory behavior in various life situations shapes and creates our personality. Why contradictions are not bad. How a person's emotional states color reality in terms of good and evil. How emotional assessment determines a person's perception. How we distinguish good from evil. Traumatic situations and loved ones. Situational emotions. Philosophy. The problem of a neurotic is the absence of feelings. Sensory reality is always objectively fixed. How we escape from problems. Contradictions in character development. The harsher the punishment, the more crimes.
