the school being old thing is so true, both me and my grandma were in the same classroom, same desk and everything like 52 years apart

My best friend had a chemistry teacher in high school they used to call her ”Hitlerista”, that's how scary she was.

if you survived through a eastern european school you already made it in life 💯 one of the worst experiences a person can go through 😂

In Romania we have school buildings since the 1800s as well that are still in use.

18:08 the dude's face is like utter nostalgic bliss.  This video also bring me back to simpler times when i was in school in Guatemala, just as shitty but with less drugs and cigarettes, we couldn't afford them lol.

23:10 so true, we had a chemistry teacher that was scaring people so much that pretty much everyone feared going to his class. However we had one chad that just watched Netflix on his phone in class, he was never caught but that guy was fearless😅

We had a teacher like that. And one student decided to pass a grade with trying to scare him. The teacher called him out at the end of the year and said you got an f see you in august, the kid got to the teacher and put a knife on the table and said no i got a D i pass, the teacher pulled a gun and put on the table and said no its an F see ya in august :D :D

1:20 Albania was never a part of Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia broke into 6 countries: Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Macedonia and Montenegro

As a balkaneer...who never studied english ,never attended  college...I like your remark " does it have subtitles " after which, you said that you learned English at a college..and I need subtitles  now 😮😮😮

2:50 the video isn't a joke, maybe a bit hyperbolical but mostly true

Albania was never part of Yugoslavia

Bro, Albania was never part of Yugoslavia. Albania isn't Slavic to begin with. 😅

In middle school ambulance literally came to school once(sometimes more) a week it was an old school maybe older than my grandmother if i would count the things we broke it would take a lot of time for sure to give an example there were no desk that wasnt atleast slightly broken when the video showed damaged desks i was suprised cause it seemed pretty clean to me since all of our desks had tattoos people would write their names or their lovers names or their mothers names(or +18 things) or whatever to desks with knifes there were holes all over the desks and a lot more

Overall what i mean is it was bad

My classmates younger brother somehow managed to shove his entire arm through a glass panel of the school exit because he pushed to hard and fast in middle school, in high school a lot of tables or chairs are missing their screws simce the mechanic studenta get bored a lot and so many more things happened

Yeah Baltic schools were simmilar in many ways. Maybe not as extreme. Seems things like this were common in the post soviet space. Looking at a picture of teens smoking near a commie block you couldn't tell which country it was.

to be fair high-school in England wasn't much different in culture for me, smoking drinking and all that, just newer buildings

Yeah! My high school had a few teachers that everyone was scared of, but the number one was one of the maths teachers... I still think back on it (I took tutoring classes with him for some reason 😢). He was in his 40s and he was slightly above 5 feet tall 😆. Let me tell you, everyone was afraid of him, and he would literally have students in the hall make way for him like he was some kind of Sith Lord 😆. Once you got to know him though, he was actually a very dedicated teacher 😄. Same with the others. Although teachers back home would make slightly above minimum wage, they would make bank by offering tutoring classes to around 5 students each day for a couple of hours 😆(my maths teacher in elementary built a big two story brick house using money from tutoring hahahaha)

Bulgaria!🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬

Ah 80s Polish schools. Ze memories

From a Romanian: this wasn't just in the Balkans, but all over Western Europe.   (Yes, I know that Romania is somewhat in the Balkans/sometimes. 😉)
(Western Europe?...  =   We  are a "distinct race"...    🤣🤣🤣)                   👍👍👍 ❤❤❤
