Some backstory on the AJ's Music thing:

Its run by just AJ himself with no other employees (he's had a few of his friends help here and there over the years it seems), which is why it's only open (now) one day a week. The address seems to have been updated on Google to his current residence, which I'm assuming the "Music Shop" is just his garage or guesthouse. He USED to operate out of a space that he was renting in a bar, but that deal fell through obviously. I think he just has a "business" to tax exempt his hobby, Vegas has alot of loopholes for weirdos like him.

Source: I'm a former Vegas native and he's pretty notorious in the area for being a shifty character (a bold statement to make for Vegas locals)

Jay, the owner in New Jersey, looks so sweet! I felt bad right away because of the reviews🥹

People shopping in guitar stores can be weird. Some folks think if you greet them as they enter, then you're being too pushy trying to sell stuff. If you don't immediately rush over to them to cater to their every need, then you're racist or something. Many guitar shoppers can be super Karens.

I love the fact bro really said "there is a guitar center nearby" instead of letting you get his business lol. That's crazy work definitely not happy to be there

The owner at the NJ store was so welcoming!

I don’t get guitar or music stores that don’t let customers comfortably test and use equipment. I say it’s BETTER for your business if you make it easy for them to do that because EVEN if they’re there just to have fun and not buy a thing that allows customers to leave your shop with a positive attitude and when they’re in actual need of something they will return. That’s how the mind works you feel comfortable somewhere you return there.

2:45 they were trying to gatekeep

This video is proof that many of the people who leave bad reviews are in fact the ones being an asshole or rude.

Can we admit that the owner of the store is one of the kindest people you'll meet on Earth

the best business model for guitar stores is to let the customer play and try things out as much as they like because that it literally how you get attached to an instrument and become significantly more likely to buy a guitar
