West German Sigs have shockingly remained a relatively niche collector's item. I've long been a fan of them but never owned one, which meant it was a perfect time to pick up the West German Sig 228. Join us today as we look back to the Col War and the origins of Sig Sauer.

very nice video and good shooting!
Just some small corrections concerning the proofmarks.
The marking of the Kiel proofhouse shall represent the so called "Nesselblatt", an often used symbol in northern German heraldic. For example, it is a part in the coat of arms of the federal state Schleswig-Holstein and (a variation) of the city Kiel.
And the "N" below the eagle just means "normal", which means, the gun was testet with a round with 30% more pressure than the actual maximum of the calibre.
A "V" below the eagle would mean "verstärkt", which would be a testing with even higher pressures, but I've actually never seen a gun with a proof mark like this in the last 7 years, where I have worked as a gunsmith.
