The people who watch videos of pet monkeys like this and leave carefree comments—calling them "happy monkeys" or saying "it's good they're owned by kind people"—are mostly Westerners who have never seen a monkey in real life and know nothing about their ecology.
Some species of macaques are classified as endangered, and keeping them as pets is often illegal in Southeast Asian countries (Vietnam has a total ban, while regulations in Indonesia likely vary by province). The very act of keeping a monkey at home without a permit is a crime. Whether or not the owner "adores" the monkey is of little consequence.
Furthermore, the majority of owners abandon their monkeys once they reach adulthood; they do not care for them for the duration of their lives.
Macaques reach sexual maturity at four to five years of age. At that point, hormonal changes often cause them to become aggressive, making them too dangerous to keep in a household. This baby monkey can only live as a pet for a few more years.

Yet, the people who post these videos do not place the monkeys in rehabilitation facilities to prepare them for a return to nature. They deny them the chance to learn essential survival skills—such as climbing trees to build muscle, foraging for food, and communicating with other monkeys—and instead simply dump them in the wild one day. Naturally, a pampered pet monkey is helpless; it faces only two fates: being killed by a predator or starving to death.

If this isn't animal abuse, what is?
Knowing this, do you still think this baby monkey is happy?
If you do, then you, too, are an animal abuser.

A ket kismajmok iszonyú soványak és nagyon éhesek. Őrültek szívják szegények jobb híján
az  ujjukat 😢

These baby monkeys are starving. Doesn't whoever is taking care of them know that babies need to be bottle-fed four times a day and eat plenty of soft fruits, like bananas and strawberries

Where is the other baby's bottle? Because only one is feeding.
