We set out on a stroll starting from Pyeongchang Valley in Bukhansan National Park, heading toward “Pyeongchang-dong” in Seoul’s Jongno-gu—a traditional affluent neighborhood where chaebol families, artists, and top stars reside.
Lee Dong-wook, who debuted in 1999 and rose to global stardom with “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” is once again capturing the attention of viewers worldwide with the recent release of Disney+’s “A Shop for Killers Season 2.”
We take a detailed look at the value and location of the grand mansion he purchased in Pyeongchang-dong in 2022—a 1,000-square-meter lot that, after three years of construction, resulted in a residence with one basement level and two above-ground floors, totaling 1,214 square meters of gross floor area.
We’ll also take a look at the black-gate mansion of veteran actors Choi Soo-jong and Ha Hee-ra—who have lived in Pyeongchang-dong since 2020—as well as the homes of neighboring stars like Lee Hyo-ri and Yoon Jong-shin.
