Declan really does come across a very genuine lad.

Aside from being a fantastic footballer, Rice also shows his personality. We see it off the pitch all the time in interviews or social media. And that’s something we don’t see in too many footballers.

It’s fun to see a footballer from my generation that has a head on their shoulders and their feet on the ground.
Being a good person is above all for me. Decs is a perfect example for the kids to follow

Everyone has a guy like Declan Rice walking around at their college. He's one of the good guys.

Not a West Ham follower and I've never heard this man speak in an interview, but what a wonderful surprise he turned out to be! He sounds like a great person with his feet planted firmly on the ground. Wish him all the best.

Dec definitely has good memories in the Bernabéu. Rice cooks better with the lid on.
