In this junk journal tutorial, I’ll show you how to transform ordinary brown packaging paper - yes, even Amazon packing paper - into beautiful vintage-style papers for junk journals, mixed media projects and handmade ephemera.
We’ll experiment with five creative brown packing paper techniques, including a peeled paint background, faux leather paper, panel stencilling, stamping and decorative mixed media finishes. And stay until the end because I’ve included a bonus idea using brown packing paper in a finished journal page.

Only thought is, you are cutting out a lot of the process, ie, how much Vaseline you actually put on paper. I can figure it out but someone less experienced, may have some difficulties.
