"A good stiff breeze" - master of understatement, Iain! Jings that looks so fishy in the bigger water. Well done with the nice mixed bag. What a brownie your pal got.
A little breeze can often be the angler's best friend but that was stretching it a bit! Lovely fish Iain, nice to see them looking healthy and in good condition. All the best for New Year ππ
Iain another enjoyable video trip on the Tweed at Cardrona. Certainly testing conditions. My salmon fishing on the River Ure in Yorkshire struggled all year with low water. My last trip in October with ideal conditions looked like no Yorkshire Salmon for me this year. All day l tried all sorts of flies but no avail. One final run down my favourite pool l decided to put on an Iain Bain Special l had tied. I caught a 15lb salmon. A cracking end to the season thanks to your famous patternπthank you. All the best for Christmas and tight lines in 2026
Hi Iain, a shame the wind was as strong as it was but jim had a lovely sea trout and the second one was a cracking brownie, and you had a lovely sea trout too. well done, great content Ian and tight lines for the next trip. π₯ Steve.
