It's sweet how engaged Bettel actually was instead of being like "yeah?" "Cool" "that's crazy"

I love how invested Bettel was into the lore and how he made Ruze pause to answer his questions the more he went on. 😂

Gonna need Octavio to explain the Kingdom Hearts universe now

"i can explain it in less than a minute" yeah, im not falling for that again

I'm actually in love with the way Bettel's increasing interest in Ruze's retelling of Homestuck went from "Uh.. what?" to "WAIT! Explain that other thing!" 😂 it reminds me of dads with their kids. Especially when he told Ruze to "play like it's Homestuck" lmfao. I can't believe I'm saying this about Bettel of all people but he has high parent energy here

7:38 "does that make sense?" "NO!"

goddamn i understood homestuck better when ruze explained it than the actual years i spent reading the fucking comic wow. like i would not have put together that the zodiacs became a human thing BECAUSE the trolls were supposed to be gods of the beta kids' universe (that part i knew)

This I needed ages ago when I was like...trying to read and understand it. I need Ruze to make a series focused purely on homestuck from beginning to end. I got invested into it too. I didn't even know it continued the original. Whoa.

Bettel is so me right there. I'd be asking the questions and trying to understand. What I love here is:

1: They let him talk about it and actually listen and became invested.
2: The patience shown when being asked questions and going back to explain things.

I might have missed somethings, but I really enjoy these three together =)

Bettel and Shinri went through the start of the Homestuck Stream Ruzaders went through. 😂

Bettel and the Bettelion: 📝

Thank you for including so many related pictures because Homestuck is still really confusing for me even tho Ruze is doing his best at explaining it again and again lol (￣～￣；)

Homestuck was like a big part of my college years, I even get to meet new people thanks to it lol . I can't believe it's been over 10 years since it started

Holy crap why does Homestuck sound fire

Laughing because I remember being the one telling Bettel not to not tell Ruze he won't read Homestuck because it's longer than the bible, when he was talking about the bible being too long to read. He said "I don't need to tell ruze that" and then chat prompted to tempt him with it having pictures

Unfortunately I think by failing to mention the "Alpha Universe" was a product of the kids and trolls doing a deliberate timeline reset he lost a step that made it very difficult to pull the rest through.

I learned so much

Thank you. I just got reccomended his videos and i instantly know why now.

Thank you for the clip and illustrations, that made the explanation so much clearer! Homestuck is really mindbendy...

RUZE JUST DUCKING EXPLAINED IT IN THE MOST SMOOTH SHIT I EVER HEARD!!!! I WANT HIM TO MAKE A STREAM ONLY TALKING ABOUT THE LORE OR TIMELINE OF HOMESTUCK!!!! I NEED IT! PLEASE TELL ME HE ALREADY MADE ONE???????

I love Bettel's interest in Ruze's Homestuck rambling & asks questions which had me actually learn😂
