19:59 New category unlocked: Boat License

I started my rookie oval racing in the street stock.  It's fun.  And you're right about the voice chat.  Oval track racing is full of people that will just go off on you if you crack up their digital car.  For the street stock, there is the Panther, but there is also the Eagle and Casino.  They are both sold as a package deal, so you get both for the price of one.

I moved to sports car last season.  The MX5 is fun.  I like the new M2 better than the MX5 and certainly the old M2 as the old one was a pig.

Great video!

Well done George. No wonder it took you a while. Great vid!

Great video as always George

You want to know which series I'm going to race, George? I don't even know. Such a mess how people spend hours practicing in the higher splits.

Rookies should just enjoy rookies while they still can. The A and B series licences, people there are faster than F1 drivers. It's ridiculous.

W vid would love to see this for each class for the different disciplines

I wanna also point out in this video Join a league too you will race the same group of people on a week to week base's for any series of racing you wanna do.

A collection of things you didn't quite note:
* The most meaningful thing to note between the Vee and 1600 is that the Vee is essentially a jerry-rigged road car basically defined by its jank (the 2nd gear is completely unuseable in part because that's the gear used most in the road-going Beetle) whereas the FF1600 is a purpose-built race car.
* The F1 car is usually highly populated in the Grand Prix Tour, a full-length series that runs on F1 weekends.
* The Street Stock alternatives are reskins, and perform the same.
* Charlotte is a superspeedway in Rookie series because of the car is so low you are running flat out without lifting and, ultimately, using the draft. It races essentially exactly as a superspeedway.
* The Mini Stock is placed in a slightly confusing place as it references the dirt car before you mention the dirt car and doesn't say much about it but to be more specific: it is generally a lighter, less grippy car than the Street Stock that is easier to hustle through the turns and battle side-by-side, but requires more care.

Dude, I started this weekend and after 5 races, in my 6th and 7th races i finished in second place both times.  I love the formula Vee.

FIRST!  Good to see new content. Love your stuff!

Personally I recommend the Legends for Rookie oval due to how versatile it is at higher license levels. Car familiarity is the biggest mental block for new drivers. You can just race the Legend and earn a B class oval and C class Sportscar. Paired with a Miata, and get to B class.

as a fellow desk setup sim racer can you please do a setup tour pleeeeassss

Smashed the like button

I’m sport car A license around 3k IR and still mostly run the Mazda. Rookie mx5 cup, PCC and Advanced are by far the most fun racing on the service.

Thanks so much, i've just got iracing in the last couple of weeks and am almost out of formula and sports cars, winning and podiuming A LOT

Starting from the back and not racing to get your SR for each licence class.. will put you in a 500 IR range.. trust me I know.

Escaping from this utter chaos is far harder than getting the SR to get to A licence.

Great Video!
I don't know how the yt algorithm does work, but I wouldn't mind if you split up the video into the different Series for additional content.
In each of the videos, maybe go a little more in dept to the D to A class options.
Viable options (participation) -> your fav option -> the cheap option.
In the cheapest option you probably drive around the track schedule? So in D Class you would drive M2/GR86/pcc depending on the track? If you plan to do GT4 you probably also go with the mustang challenge? If there are enough participants?
And if you want to go really deep, maybe give some track recommendations :)
