Ubisoft just surprised us with a major parkour update, new gameplay changes, and a free story expansion for Assassin’s Creed Mirage and they’re all coming soon. The parkour update is bigger than you might think, completely changing how the game feels to play and possibly hinting at where the franchise is heading next.

Ubisoft Bordeaux needs to be given a chance to make their own game from scratch. It’s clear that they’re very passionate and are AC purists who respect the past.

They’re clearly held down by the newer engine in the RPG games and the overall RPG formula.

Thank God,Finally it's been 10 years they bring back mission replay and free side eject from Altair-Ezio era

The manual jump does look a bit clunky Im not going to lie but damn it is a MASSIVE step in the right direction. I can't wait for Ubi Bordeaux to get a full budget for a new AC. I want a new AC Game with Bordeaux Level design and parkour gameplay with Montreal story and lore! now THAT would bring AC Back to its glory.

Extremely rare Ubisoft W

1. this update could make Ac Mirage one of the top 5 or top 3 of all the Ac games
2. I'ts almost confirmed we are gettting at least one Black Box Assassination, but i wish they rework all of them. In Ac mirage the Black Box don't give à lot of possibilities

This ubisoft team really feels like they actually care and listen to the fans its refreshing to see.

I've been playing Assassin's Creed since 2007 and I still love the franchise.

Mirage quickly became one of my favorite AC games when it launched, and it just seems like the game that keeps on giving. The post-launch content for this game has been INSANE, and I absolutely cannot wait for Valley of Memory to drop.

Manual jumping was so unexpected! I wish Shadows got one as well!

It’s crazy it took Ubisoft 10 years to listen to its community. Regardless, im so glad peak is back ❤🙌

Ubisoft Bordeaux needs to have full backing and budget for assassins creed they know what the customers want they know what it means

@D23-qw7jf 11 months ago

The problem with Mirage getting this update is that this game was built on a older version of the Anvil engine that wasn't updated to support a shared branch across all studios of Ubisoft, that only happened with Shadows. So, while Mirage getting this update is good for the game itself, I don't know how much of an impact that alone will have on all the future AC games. They will have to develop these mechanics again for the newer version with Shadows and forward at least once more.

wow this looks massive, i hope they can continue going the right way !

@cosmogcrusader5546 11 months ago

I'm sorry, did Ubisoft suddenly get a change in management? Why does this look so good?

@emayex8934 11 months ago

On one hand, it took them 10 years to reinvent the wheel so to speak, but on the other hand we finally might get the wheel and have things moving again😭
