How did you get the horse that kept pawing to go in the water? My Arabian does the same thing, she won't ever move a step, she just paws. Any suggestions for how I can get her to go deeper?

I like that girls go bathing with horses wearing jeans, because I think wet jeans look good.
But I can't help wondering why they go swimming with horses fully dressed.
Why is it that people normally dress in bathing clothes when they go swimming, but when bathing with horses they do it with clothes on? I like it, just wonder why.
