Both William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton are in this episode. Pat has a surprising number of actors that he's worked with before they both appear in Doctor Who.
He plays a homeless person in this episode. Is it illegal to be homeless? The police do NOT like him. But he's an iconic little character in this.

The minimum of street furniture, neither white lines nor yellow. Oh well, at least I can remember the roads like that.

Good to see both first and second Doctors and General Cutler doing well before the South Pole and Cybermen a few years later… General Grugger from Meglos was there too!

Why didn't the tramp give the police the registration number of the car - he saw it perfectly clearly. And it would take WEEKS to fingerprint every one of 25,000 people - good job they didn't try to do that in London!! It's like an episode of the Keystone Cops.

Not as exciting as highway patrol, but it's pretty decent. A little bit too much like a documentary. But very entertaining.

Preferred Broderick Crawford instead of Robert Beatty in the lead roll.
