My hair is 2c on wash day, 2b on second day, then 2a until wash day or I refresh it lmao, a real chameleon

Definitely type 2c. Not only do I get the dreaded "triangle head" but when dry and no products in it, it gets so frizzy it looks like I got in a fight with a light socket and lost.

Always thought I was 1C, but this video made me realize I'm actually 2A. My hair curls up when it's damp. Thank you so much for this video!<3

I’m definitely 2B… I’m so stuck what to do with it because it’s frizzy, flat, low volume, fine & low density. I have a lot of bald patches!

My hair is somewhere between 2a and 2b. No hairdresser ever told me I have wavy hair.

I'm 2A! Thanks for this video, I always thought that I had straight hair because it is quite straight, but everytime I get out from the shower my hair is in loose waves. This was so nice to discover my hair type :) It still is lightly wavy when after I'm done brushing my hair, but when I get out of the shower it's much more pronounced

Oke... I think my hair is also mix type 1 and 2. Because some of the hairs are slightly bend, some of them more wavy,... a few are curly. I only get triangle shape after shampooing 🤔.

Thank you for making this video! I've encountered several too many gate keepers who belong to the 3 and 4 groups family and they don't seem to accept that slightly wavy hair is 2A, instead they say it's just straight hair, when clearly it has waves! You have a great and accurate view and very helpful, for once a fantastically accurate and helpful hair type video. You rock!

I thought I was 2b but the 'triangle' really hit home, I'm always cutting my hair in styles where I can thin out the bottom because it bothers me so much

Damn, so I guess I have 2C.
Explaining how the hair grows out really made it possible to confirm hair type without actually growing it out first.

Idk if I’m 1C or 2A maybe a mix of both ?

2b gal here! Recently found this out; scrunching helps a bit.

I feel like I’m a mix of 2a and 2b cause my ends are more a 2b and the mids are 2a. but sometimes my hair can look more straight and flat and my waves don’t stay, I feel like it really fluctuates over the day and different air humidity 😭 it turns out a little different every time I wash it too

First time hearing that hairdressers like type 2 hair. It's been a real struggle of mine where I'd rather learn to cut and style it on my own then going to the hairdresser that doesn't understand it. :|

Great explanation. I have 2c hair and I love it. I think category 2 is the most beautiful hair type. Golden middle. Bless you.:virtualhug::yougotthis:

My father had extremely fine hair, my mother has super textured super curly hair - tight curls. I got some dry frizzy mess in between, curls underneath my hair, frizzy waves on top.

@Kassidy-i3x 2 months ago

he explained it very well, but 2c was more curly than wavy. i have type 2b and i think i should know

@SJirish 4 years ago

This is the best most straight forward explanation I've ever heard 💙 I think I've finally figured my hair type out 🤣 thanks

@alifanoor7420 4 years ago

Me between type 2B and Type 2A

@k3upikachu 4 years ago (edited)

My hair is all of the above 😅 I have strands that are almost straight, and others that are ringlets. It definitely needs to be treated more like hair on the curly side, though, because it does not get oily and requires a lot of TLC with deep conditioning and gentle manipulation
