FINALLY, THE HYUNDAI THAT THE CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL WAS GOING TO PAY 18 MILLION MZN FOR COSTS 5.5 MILLION: WHAT HAPPENED? 🤔
It seems that any acquisition made by the Government has become fashionable for prices to be exorbitant, a practice that, it seems, has been going on for quite some time.
Recently, the Constitutional Council (CC) intended to acquire several vehicles, including a Hyundai, for the amount of 18 million meticais. According to available information, the vehicle would be purchased from Ronil Auto. Up to that point, everything seemed normal, although the price raised suspicions.
To obtain more information, yesterday afternoon, politician Augusto Pelembe went to Ronil Auto to inquire about the prices of Hyundai vehicles. The company was clear and presented the price of the vehicle, which, in fact, is around 5.5 million meticais.
That is, at Ronil Auto, in Mozambique, the same car costs around 5.5 million meticais.
The burning question is: why, according to the CC (presumably a website or website), does the same car appear with a price of 18 million meticais? 🤔
