At this point you should just do the whole lbc series. That'd be like a journey and we'll have fun watching it.

I love Live versions, but this is one song that the official video is worth seeing. The visuals drive it home.

The Rev wrote this song from a dream he had and he arranged and wrote all of the music himself. He also has one of the best backing vocals in this song.

"Cause I really always knew that my little crime would be cold, that's why I got a heater for your thighs." That lyric has lived rent free in my head for over a decade lol. It's so messed up.

"Did i hear that correctly?
... in her sleep???!!"

you are so innocent 😂

Syn's little gesture during the heater for the thighs line always makes me chuckle

It’s a love story… a dark and twisted love story mixed in with murder, cannibalism, necrophilia, zombies, a crashed wedding and a massacre. It’s about a love so strong that not even death could keep them apart.

This song was written by their old drummer, The Rev (passed away December 2009) because the band asked him to make something absolutely nuts for the album they were working on. In turn, he came up with a song where a guy kills his girlfriend for denying his marriage proposal because he is obsessed with her, then she comes back from the dead to kill him. In hell he begs for forgiveness and she gives it to him and then they live happily ever after as a married zombie couple. The song itself, although is purely meant to tell a wicked story, is basically a love song, a really dark love song..
I think that "A Little Piece Of Heaven" is like "Bohemian Rhapsody" It’s unique masterpiece of art and it takes time to be totally appreciated or understood for some people.

This song was supposed to be a joke song they made for halloween, but turns out to be one of the a7x's masterpiece, they had so much fun recording this song.

Also, the music video for this song slap, you must watch it!

As a fan since 06

Missing the Rev's voice and drumming one of the best heavy metal drummers of the mid to late 2000s funky jazz and ska influenced drumming

The best masterpiece ever made, this is a love story, with necrophilia, killing, heart ripping, the best melody ever made, and on top off that we get Shadows and Rev singing together. Rev was such a good song writer, this song as such a deep meaning, it’s funny like everyone when listens to it for the first time gets shocked, and when you listen to it carefully you will see the true meaning of the song.

@andrewchaffee3133 3 years ago

This song was all Rev. He wrote the whole thing, drumming is amazing as always, and then does the insane backing vocals playing the woman's part. And this crazy multi part song was all executed flawlessly . . . live. Amazing performance.
