You got me thinking while you were venting about all the outside time you were working. I was trying to identify the differences between teaching 30 years ago and teaching now. I have spent many, many hours working outside of contract hours. However, I think back in the day, up until 5–8 years ago, that time was spent making more engaging lessons, making learning fun, and just spending time making things more enjoyable for everybody. These days, I feel like there's no time for that, and we are just expected to follow the directions from admin. Does that make sense?
