One of our best episodes ever! So proud to be part of this. Huzzah! Cheers!! 🫡🙏🏻🍀🖖🏻💪🏻

I tried to jump in on Batman 153 and just couldn’t do it. Even as a Zdarsky enjoyer. I think it’s editorial that really hamming up the social commentary. He handles it so much better in his indies

The new earth that darksed arrives at has already been formed and is is very similar to prime earth more than the other earths in the old multiverse., at this point Darkseid is correct in saying that the bad guys have more of an advantage but its not as bad as something like earth 3 with owlman and the evil justice league yet as members of the panel questioned. Where I see the panel and a lot of fans are making the mistake is thinking Darksied created this earth, he did not, he is just informing the reader what he senses and can feel about the new earth that already is although the timeline is still solidifying. Darkseid on this planet as he fully forms and and regains all his powers (he will in time) will have an inherent advantage to start with to fully corrupt with the heros already at a disadvantge to start with. When Booster arrives he gets there in the future where Darkseid had already fully formed and corrupted fully to his liking. You can see this later in absolute Batman where the timeline is in the present, the bad guys are brutal and have an advantage but at this point no hints of Darkseids appearance are shown yet although possible minor influences are starting to take hold. I hope this explains to some readers a little more context to what is happening.

I don’t think the call back stuff makes the book less accessible, it just makes something for older readers to think is cool. I’ve not read most of the things it called back to and to me it was just a cool way to say all of these big events have happened and lead to this. I don’t think people are so dumb that they see the call backs and think “Oo no I won’t understand anything now”

I love the justice league unlimited stuff because it calls back to how the show worked and the show was amazing. Think it amounts to a lot of very different stories that can be told too.

Just stamping "toxic" on any fan that doesn't like a project is the biggest cope.  Even as a massive DC fan, I won't just accept whatever they toss down. I haven't since at least 2011. If something I love is doing terribly, I'm going to react. We remember the good times, we remember good stories, and we're not getting that. Why wouldn't we be upset? Not everyone is hurling personal attacks. The stories are bad, boring AT BEST.

Glad to see that Sully is still in his sus arc.

Big fan of Sully, always good when his in the show

DC was super boring this week. However, the massive verse is incredible. Radiant Black is definitely worth the read. Skip Red and Pink though.

ComicsGate always has late books. Art T bert took 3 years to make one small book. Evan van sciver takes 2 or more years to make books.

Comic Book Battles: Yo Wes, can you do a review of Wolverine Deep Cut and explain why having good fights and Battles matter in comics.

People are tired of these two page battles in comics. They build up a story for 3 to 5 issues and the conclusion or fight is in one page.

Superman is supposed to have grand battles that you remember. When he fights a villian like Doomsday or Darkseid, the fight should be for multiple issues. You get to see Superman struggle to win and see how dangerous his villians are to him. But you cant do that if the whole fight is just two pages. It's ridiculous.

Sully's opinion is f-ing terrible

Sorry to be the one to tell you but Absolute Batman #1 sold out. 2nd print coming.
