You know the story of Sonic's Last Life. But what about the very first? Also BONUS BALL X PIT TEASER AFTER! Sonic's First Life will return SOON! Love mashed ❤

I like how the sonic who died from drowning keeps spitting out water and instead of having a blurred gore part he's just completely wet

@Nickw2004 10 months ago

The repeated, exact delivery of "Where am i??" each and every time.
It creates so much more humor than it should. absolute gold.

I'm surprised the idea of a video game character's past lives being treated as existential horror wasn't used earlier. It's a creative premise that allows viewers to empathize with the character.

0:57 I think it's a neat bit of detail how instead of the blood just being from the motobugs claw, he actually tried to pull it out which resulted in more blood on his head, neat little back story!

6:35 "Then it must be... THAT WE'RE TWO CHARACTERS IN A MOVIE, BEING PLAYED BY THE SAME ACTOR!"

7:00 Bro just accepted it 😭

It's sad enough, but man I feel so bad for the first Sonic. He just wanted to explore somewhere new and dies immediately.

Seeing how the first Sonic ran made me remember how current Sonic was only able to get out of there because he was the most recent Sonic, the Sonic who proved to have speeds that could break space-time, and meanwhile the first Sonic was probably just developing his speed, and died before he could even start that journey

1:55 I love how he talks about Eggman as if he doesn't know who he is, proving how early of a sonic he is.

5:14 i realized second looked at first becuase these are the things they remembered before they died, first definitely does. But second does remember it differently and unlike the others these happened recently to them not a long time ago. So there memories are still fresh in their heads

I think it’s a very neat detail, that they seem to be underground, and every classic side scrolling sonic games, they seem to fall under the surface EVERYTIME you die, hence why they fall when entering there😮

Honestly to me the crazy part isn't the various gruesome ways that sonic ends up dying. It's the fact that all of these extra lives end up dying so quickly one after another

6:58 "Who me? :O"
"No you're Dead, pal. Sorry."
"Dang... :("

Thanks for having me back as Sonic! And Sonic! And Sonic! And Sonic! And Alf!

This honestly feels like a creepypasta, but instead of "oh spooky demon kill everyone ooga booga" I love how it faces more towards the inevitability of death and knowing your own mortality. This was was an absolute banger. Also, I like Sonic's voice, good job to you and your entire team!

5:32 Real talk, tho... seeing him with the flickies he saved was so wholesome

I'm honored that so many of you wanted to see the Last Life story develop further. I've had plenty of ideas for it that I can't wait to show. More to come soon!

@RTD_Dev 11 months ago

Let me say this… props to Mashed for bringing such a horrifying concept to life in the first place. 👏

@allpurpouseflour 11 months ago

"This is how we can keep him alive!" "Who, me?" "nah, you're dead pal" "dang"

@sharioar785 11 months ago

7:03 hey that is actually a good idea I know right but what if you could somehow find a way get tails down there I mean they definitely have a lot of brain so maybe they good make a device or something to do that
