WAR CRIME SLIME TIME! WAR CRIME SLIME TIME!

Sir Reginald von Meatwagon Games has reaped another soul.

21:49 If I had a penny for each time a blonde haired, pale skinned vtuber paused at this segment...

I'd have two pennies... Which isn't a lot, but it's odd that it happened twice.

16:30 It's not spreading faster, Reggie's colonists were just transferring more tumors to her every day.

To be perfectly fair, I've had worse starting situations with far less "too weird to live" colonists in Rimworld. Like, perfectly normal group of five people, I make a room to sleep in and start a farm, and the game goes "you know what, you look like a freaking millionaire to me now. Here, have a half dozen raiders with assault rifles. Good luck Ewok-ing out of this one with sticks and stones." The game generally wants you to lose and will do everything it can to make it so. Unless you play in "Easy" settings, then the game will only try to sabotage you once every three days, instead of every day.

7:30 Cypress-netic upgrades.

12:40 I managed to have a very good cannibal run in Rimworld with that "hotel" mod. I would make the beds and food free, and have a nice farm so I could provide vegetable for those disgusting non-cannibals. Then I would let four of every five visitors leave and spread the word on how awesome the hotel was. The fifth guest, however? I 'invited' them to dinner. Or rather, to be dinner. Most of the time, the gruesome murder of one dude from a faction would balance out with the other four guys who were absolutely enamoured of the hotel's quality and service.

It almost went bad when one of my idiot colonists decided to put some 'humanitarian' food in the fridge reserved for guests (which only had vegetables and animal meat.) Fortunately a bit of 'diplomacy' solved that (as in, killing the guy who ate the wrong meal just so he wouldn't go telling others about it.)

Rimworld really brings out the best in people. :D

14:00 Problem is, every faction in the game is psychic. They just know you've murdered some dude, even if nobody else who saw you do it was alive to go tell them.

16:50 ... At least she didn't die from the tumors? That's a silver lining, right? Right? D:

19:40 Because in most games, animals can't carry flamethrowers and call your characters bad things?

22:20 Rimworld is a bad enough place to live, that people don't usually care what animal the meat in their food comes from, unless it's human-adjacent meat (and then there's also cannibals around, so yeah.)

22:40 You can use other things that cost less research points to make researching easier. Like electricity, or room heating. So going for the MIcroelectronics research outright was just one of the usual Reggie's "I want to make my life harder because why not?" decisions.

24:20 Ah, furries. The one type of creature Reggie will rarely murder. Not because it's the right thing to do, but because "eww I don't want to touch that thing."

28:50 It is. The devs are just using it as a blanket word for "fear of water in any form" which would be hydrophobia.

The original Olympics held by the Ancient Greeks had all of their athletes compete naked.  They believed that having clothing on would prevent them from competing at their peak.  Must be where the naked speed gene concept came from…or a buff for a nudist challenge.

Reggie videos are amazing, he is absolutely a sociopath who attempts crazy things in games and will commit war crimes along the way

0:22 "Violently exploding on contact with sunlight" cuts to a picture of herself.

Finally the Snail and the Slime meet

YOOOO my boii reggie with the CULT life lesgooooo

Yeah! Please watch more Reggie!

"I wish i had a better face of disgust..." - Mipyun
Tfw you're too cute to show the proper amount of disgust that you're feeling...

Reggie is awesome! I love his Total War and Conquest of Elysium videos.

Damn, now I want to play Rimworld again.

Hey Mip, if you do decide to get Rimworld, here's the sparknotes on what the DLC offer. I can't say which ones are important, because they all fundamentally change the game, so they're all must-haves in my book, but here's what they actually do:

-Royalty: This DLC adds a number of mechanics centered around the Fallen Empire, which are a group of pseudo-greek cosplayers with the best tech in the game. The DLC allows you to join their faction, get a noble title, and level it up to become a Duke or Duchess. It also adds a lot of Archotech and Psicast (the setting's not!magic) stuff, like pin-sized portals directly to the sun.

-Biotech: This DLC introduces the genetic mechanic that was at the core of Reggie's playthrough here, as well as a number of sub-races of human being to take advantage of that. It also gives your colonies the ability to have babies (children don't exist in the vanilla game), and a bunch of furniture that goes along with that.

-Ideology: This DLC focuses on Ideoligions, which are a cross between political ideology and religious belief. It allows you to customize your pawn's cultural beliefs and make them okay with things they might otherwise object to, like cannibalism, killing random people, or cutting down trees. It also includes the Dryad system, which are animal-like workers that help out enormously around the colony.

-Anomaly: This DLC focuses on eldrich horror and fleshwarping. It involves a lot of gross stuff like map events that make tentacles burst from the ground or spooky dark monoliths that can be plumbed for treasure at great peril to your colonists. It adds a lot of events that make the game more dynamic and threatening, even to large, well-established colonies.

-Odyssey: This DLC is the most recent, and focuses on space travel. You can build your own space ships, fuck off to the moon, and visit new biomes. It further fleshes out the sci-fi side of the game, and is the only one I haven't actually played with yet (I do own it, I just haven't been in a Rimworld mood for a while)

I SWEAR I KEEP FINDING NEW VTUBERS THROUGH REGGIE REACTIONS, WHAT IS THIS?!

I was most surprised when you said Rimworld was on sale as that game almost never goes on sale and I have been playing it since the alpha 16 days! and that's only the 2nd time I have heard of it going on sale XD if you do get it you might want to turn off the Anomaly DLC till you get used to everything as that DLC is about adding in nightmarish eldritch horrors which require certain tactics and research to counter but it also adds in the option to do SCP foundation style playthrus. nothing like losing your whole colony to the "enemy within" because you didn't notice that your cook was infected with a monstrous parasite and now all your food has been contaminated lol

12:30 .....yeah? Do you not? 😂

Even in dark souls you are faster when you are wearing no armor.
