In '88, when I was on the Constellation (CV-64) we went on a package tour to Baguiom astayed at the Hyatt Terraces ther. Heard it was demolished in an earthquake later on. Shame, it was beautiful.

wow --- things change over time ? Curious where more locals are '''moving''' to in all of the islands now - not simply visiting ? Iloilo perhaps ? --- And retirement destinations also ? Given Dumaguete seems to have slipped a bit in popularity ? = More potential content ? 🤔

Baguio has become heavily congested and overcrowded, took a water sample from the gutter during a downpour and it was black as night, took the sample to an independent laboratory for analysis and the results were very disturbing, the city has the highest level of atmospheric pollutants, you no longer smell the scent of Pine Trees instead it's exhaust fumes, that's the reality what is Baguio today.

Baguio is so heavily congested and polluted, took a water sample from the gutter during a downpour and it was black as night, took the sample to an independent laboratory for analysis and the results were very disturbing the level of pollutants are extremely high, you no longer smell the scent of Pine Trees instead you'll inhale exhaust fumes as there are many smoke belching vehicles. That's the reality of the atmosphere in Baguio these days.
