This feels like one soul singing with two voices. When they sing together (especially when they're both leads instead of a lead and a background vocalist - there must be a term for this, but I'm not a musician and I don't know it) they make me feel like they're expressing the exact same and genuine emotions. I don't know if that makes any sense, but it's magical.

I heard them do this live a couple years ago and it made me cry

Halestorm is great. Lzzy and Amy Lee have become really good friends and have done a lot of duets together. They tour together a lot and bring each other out for cameos.

Familiar Taste of Poison is a good one.

She's one of the most underrated singers out there.

Lzzy fan here! Her vocal range is amazing. The Silence is another good song

I love Lzzy. I finally got the chance to see her Live and its such an amazing moment. The amount of control and power she has in her voice to also maintain her movement without skipping a beat. Omg, I cant remember exactly which song it was she was singing but she was holding a long high note and dropped to her knees and bent all the way back and held that note the whole time without even shaking her voice. She is so underrated in terms of how amazing her vocal control and tone is.

Give Rock Show a listen. That's the song that hooked me on Halestorm and of course that second album "The Strange Case of" is a hard rock masterpiece!

Lzzy and Amy are good friends. This is a Halestorm song and when talking about a collab Amy said she would really like to do Break In. Lzzy offered to Amy to take the lead or more lines but this is what she wanted. (She clearly had an idea already) When the got to studio to record it was set up this way and they were told that is was going to be a live recording. They are just that good that it didn't matter they just did it.
You're missing out on Halestorm. I recommend you check out Love Bites (In the live room) or I Am The Fire OMV.

And by the way you might like to also check the new Amy Lee/Evanescence music
They released a soundtrack single for the Devil May Cry Netflix series, song is called
"AFTERLIFE"

and Amy Lee as a solo just released a collab with Halsey the song is called "HAND THAT FEEDS" and it will be part of the soundtrack for the movie Ballerina that comes out next month which is a spink off from John Wick movies.

I seem to remember that Amy Lee wrote the harmonies, despite the fact that Lzzy thought it should be more of a duet with Amy taking a verse. Lzzy was singing this when they were touring together and Amy approached her about adding harmony vocals.
Could be wrong... Edit: Live on tour they shared verses and provided harmony for each other, in the studio Amy showed up having been given "free reign" by Lzzy to write the parts she wanted to sing. So says the interwebs, anyway.
