I’m responding to Erin Lento’s @thewitchofsaturn Mass Market Witchy Decks tag —you can watch her original video here ✨Best Mass Market Witchy Decks✨ #bestmmwit...
Inspired by @sylvansway's take on the tag, I decided to go in my own direction rather than follow the original prompts.
You can watch her video here: #BestMMWitchyDecks | VR to Erin @thewitcho...
For my response, I moved away from the prompts and/or decks that have the word "witch" in the title and instead asked: What actually makes a deck feel witchy to me?
And what emerged was a three-part framework:
🌿 Symbolic Witchcraft — decks whose imagery and vibes wreak witchy
🌙 Relational Witchcraft — decks I actively work with in my magical practice of ancestry work
🔥 Threshold Witchcraft — decks that feel like portals or initiations
From there, I ranked my top 13 decks from least to most “witchy”—not by title, but by how deeply they pull me into practice.

If this way of thinking about “witchy decks” resonates with you, I’d love to see your take on it.
Feel free to use these categories (or adapt them) and create your own version—and if you do, tag me so I can watch!

I think I saw the MicroCosmic Oracle on Lisa Papez’s channel and she mentioned it would be great for a decan walk but didn’t realize that it was only the personal planets. If it wasn’t this deck, it was a similar theme. What a bummer that they didn’t do Jupiter & Saturn.
I don’t have the Crow Tarot yet for some reason. Must not be the right time. It’s so beautiful, though.
Same- I have more witchy Oracle. I think maybe there’s just more of them out there….
I love your ancestry category. That sounds like such a deep practice. And a threshold category is so good!
Hahaha I, too, do not want to go to town.
Thank you so much for doing a VR! You absolutely have something to add to the conversation. I’m so glad you ended up doing the tag and making it work for you. Sorry it took me so long to comment- I’m trying to make my way through all the videos. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. 🖤🖤🖤
