Back to the 40-inch Planet of the Apes Icarus model build! π In Part 3, we move on to the front control section/cockpit area and get into a lot of mods, fixing, scratch building and detailing to make everything work and look a whole lot better than it did originally.
This part of the Planet of the Apes Icarus build was definitely one of those βdown in the weedsβ sessions. There are a bunch of little changes and fixes along the way, including modifying the counter consoles, scratch building the tunnel hatch, adding console lighting, fixing gaps, and doing various scratch-built details before getting into the primer and paint. π§
This is a large scale 40-inch Icarus spaceship model build with plenty of scratch building, model modifications, lighting and painting.
