A look at the way F1 went from giving us almost nothing by way of on screen information to giving us so much stuff it gets in the way of other stuff.

Whoever thought to make purple the best time of everyone cooked so hard.

As soon as I saw the title I just thought of how it used to be: basically nothing on the screen but the cars at random spots on the track and then Murray Walker would say, "Yeah I think he's in fifth. We'll find out at the end of the race."

This video must have taken ages to film and then even longer to do all the post-production, but it really helped bring it to life and was a nice bit of nostalgia for me, and likely informative for the people who weren't watching at the time. I enjoyed it a lot. Also your Blue Prince tattoo is very cool.

whether or not the old video is great; this one is awesome. one can clearly sense you had loads of fun in creating it with all its lovely small details. great video. a proper, pleasing history lesson.

My dad still gets confused by the lap count, he got so used to it counting down, that when he's watching races nowadays, he keeps forgetting that it counts up.

I love the history and design of F1 graphics, seeing all these recreations of them hits me right in the hyperfixation.

Can we take a moment to appreciate Chainbear for his incredible graphics in this video? Those must have taken ages but they look amazing!

Really fantastic way to illustrate what you're speaking about without breaking your flow. I'm a relatively new F1 follower but I enjoyed the memories you brought back of watching races with those graphics once in a while with my dad in the late 90s!
