The arms of Baphomet in that pose always read "solve et coagula" meaning break apart and put together. Just adding that.

Also, GRRM always talks about how history doesn't repeat, but it rhymes.
I feel like that is a very important concept to hold in one's head while trying to figure this game out.

What if the ancient Gelmir hex was Rykard’s way of finding/resurrecting Godwyn? He spent so long trying he gave himself up to the serpent and now every Tarnished he eats is his “family”.

Great work on this! One of the most important parallels that coincides with the theory that we're godwyn, lies in the stories of Marika/Radagon and St. Trina/Miquella stories. Marika was cast aside like St. Trina, both of whom summon you to kill their male selves because godhood is a prison.

Absolutely wonderful. you are the best at this- deserving of the name Dryleaf. I especially like the clear, simple description of the use of common literary devices. It makes sense that Miyazaki's main inspiration is books- decoding his stories requires the work of excellent readers. Thanks again for all your hard work! I hope more of the community give you the recognition you deserve.

36:20 This event also implies the reason that bloodhound knights are known for their absolute loyalty through Darriwil's parallels with Blaidd and thus why Darriwil "betrays" Ranni, especially since Iji uses the same jail to seal both Blaidd and Darriwil

Just started the video and I'm so ready.

Edit: Finished, this one seems to be more targeted to help viewers understand the approach you use and I think it's important to lay groundwork. New perspectives and deeper methodologies give us so much more to jump from. Nameless Singer and Scum Mage Infa injected so much life into the lore communities and I think finally your time has come.

Your perseverance is pretty inspiring I must say.

Titanborne's is another creator being slept on. The Platos's Republic angle is very interesting as well.

so before watching, ive always thought that elden ring is more based on alchemy than anything in that the lands between is the inside of the potion bottle. the fingers are the touch of the hand stirring the pot. the crucible is just the ingredients poured in the bottle.
