Hey Doug,  as the saying goes 'you can't please all the people all the time', but there sure are a lot of folk on this blue/green planet of ours that love and appreciate every cut that you're teaching us, with or without your hand in the way sometimes (it can't be helped). I personally like to see both sides of the figure as you hold the knife differently for each side. Thank you for all the great lessons and the time that you're giving us. From a grey and damp England, stay safe.

You seem to have a good feel for the audience of your channel. Personally I am one of the ones that enjoy the "fast paced just carve something out of wood". But I also enjoy all of your content.  And as you likely know, no matter what you do, there will always be complainers. 😁😁   I've said it before, you're a good trainer.

Hello Doug.  I am very new to wood carving and am really enjoying your videos.  I've also had a certain degree of success carving simple Santas and a snowman.  I would like to weigh in on the debate between making your videos shorter, or longer with more detail and different views of what you are working on.  If folks feel it is going too long, they can always fast forward to whatever point they want.  I would like to see you take your time and give us the benefit of your experience and knowledge in more detail.  In any event, I want to thank you for what you do.  My success here with some simple carvings is all due to your tutorials, so thank you very much.  Pete Ignelzi, New Jersey, USA.
