The world when it's finally my turn to be an adult

The most bullsh!t part is if you go in person asking about a job anywhere they just tell you to apply online. What happens when you apply online they don't contact you

Ghost jobs need to be illegal bro

“Entry level” has now lost its meaning. It’s like they don’t even want someone who has little to no experience. They legitimately expect someone like a senior to take that “entry level” and accept whatever bullshit they give like low pay or low benefits. It’s all manipulation.

The unemployed life is only great if you don't have bills to pay

They want you to have 50 million years work experience. Lol

I’m 20 yrs old. I applied to so many entry level jobs like chipotle, pizza hut, dunkin donuts. The struggle is real and half of these employer genuinely just don’t want to give you a chance. “so what do you aside from school work during your free time.” Like just give me the damn job already you don’t need to know my personal life to find someone to wash dishes, cook food, etc.

Jobs are basically finding a needle in a haystack atp

Point of ghost jobs is just to steal your data and information and should straight up be illegal.

I also hate that they would say 2-3 years of experience only to give you a minimum pay job

Entry level jobs be like:
You need a 4 year degree
2-3 years of experience
Work 72 hours a week
Pay: $15 an hour 💀💀💀

The only reason I got my current job is because my manager/supervisor was my Sunday school teacher.
Seriously, it feels like the only way to get a job is to know someone high up

Jobs on Indeed just have an AI behind the application acceptance or denial process, and that makes me mad asf, can't we just get a job?

as a gen z that has a job im eternally grateful and tired, very tired 😂😭💀

@mikedawolf95 7 months ago

They used to threaten us by saying the only job you can get without a degree is McDonald’s or Walmart and no we can’t even get jobs there 😔

I love the 'You need 2-5 years experience' spheel but nowhere will hire you so you can gain that experience

Job are like winning the lottery

This problem is so bad in China to the point that more than half of the young adult population in China are unemployed. There’s apparently no jobs for them and a lot of them are also getting scammed by shady employers who withhold pay for several months only to then suddenly sell up shop and flee the country overnight.

@merioravioly9501 8 months ago

The worst part is, not only do even ENTRY LEVEL jobs ask you to have work experience now, there's also the fact that even if you DO have job experience employers might just reject you ANYWAYS because "Oh, you're overqualified."

There's practically no winning in the current job market as it is.
