Kirby final bosses back then: Funny Penguin guy
Kirby final bosses right now: literally just fucking Satan from the Bible

The immediate jump from “rahhh I’m an evil penguin with a big hammer!!”
To
“I AM THE VERY REASON YOUR CHILDREN WEEP NIGHTLY, I ALONE AM THE SOLE PROGENITOR OF ALL THAT YOU DREAD AND LIVE IN FEAR OF, I AM AGONY DISTILLED”
And then straight back to
“Rahhh I’m an evil penguin with a big hammer!!”
Will always be one of my favorite parts of this franchise

Back when sakurai made Kirby as just a funny pink orb game, now the same pink orb is fighting literal world ending Eldritch horror

Early game: fighting a living tree

End game: Fighting a god

This implies the fact that theoretically before Kirby came along King DeDeDe was the one to protect his kingdom incase stuff like this came along due to how regular this stuff occurs even WITHOUT Kirby around. No wonder he’s constantly targeted for possession.

"honey, a new kirby game dropped, make a new evolution video!"

We went from fighting a giant penguin in a ring to dimension, world ending abominations.
How this cute 8-inch pink puff ball defeat them all is so crazy.
Kirby the strongest Nintendo character ever.

Kirby, “rated E for eldrich horrors”

I love that you just let Dark Nebula do it's attack before killing it as to say "Yeah....this is the final boss of this game....and it's sad."

I remember hearing a while back that the developers intended for kirby's plot to be the way it is how it start's off simple and childlike then evolves into a huge serious and kind of dark tone

I love how in the Kirby games, we went from facing an overweight Penguin, to creepy Gods bringing destruction and Darkness.

Kirby has faced a LOT of final bosses in his MANY adventures with his friends!!!

Kirby villains at the start: a Fat Self-Proclaimed Monarch Penguin who stole all the food.

Kirby villains now: 2:11:24

Oh, it's just Dedede. I was expecting horrors beyond mortal comprehension but he'll do I guess.

I love how Nightmare was the original Magolor

Imagine how skillful this player is for beating Genwal Meteonelfillis with little to no damage at all.

I kinda feel like Chaos Elfilis and the Master Crown should be here too, the former is the final boss of Forgotten Land's epilogue and the latter is the final boss of the Return to Dream Land's Magolor epilogue.

King Dedede started it as a villain then became a hero the second game

It's kind of fascinating how we went from a greedy penguin-looking king to the ultimate life-form itself.

Three precious companions bound by a strong and unbreakable bond who have worked together with Kirby to save the world from numerous crises.
You say we were enemies? That's a lie.
