Big fan of the channel and your all very talented but steve is on another level 👌   clearly takes pride in his work and it shows 👏 👍

Great video. I'd give my eye teeth for another manta coupe. Excellent workmanship.

Theres just something magical about watching an expert creat metalwork sections from scratch and the fettling to get it all to fit properly..... Amazing job

An excellent video. Thanks to your great restoration, this beautiful Opel Manta can remain on the road for many years to come. It was very interesting to watch you work. Greetings from Northern Germany.

Great Job, don't forget the Chrome trim around the wheel arches.

Redoing rear arches is apparently a full restoration now.

You guys make this look so simple, but as we know it takes years to get to this standard. Well done.

I thought when you were sanding down " Oh no Steve, get a mask on", then hey presto, kudos to you. Now get some ear protection sorted bud, trust me, you'll thank me in years to come.  Great content.

Da hat man  noch von weiten gesehen das es ein Opel ist, da sieht man wieder wie schön diese  Autos  waren.

Always loved those when i was growing up in the 70s

I could watch your videos for hours.  It is everything I don’t have the patience (or skill) for 😂😂

Bloody lovely Steve. I used to cry myself to sleep wanting one these.

A buddy had the fastback and we used to go to Mallory Park together to watch the racing in it.

Halcyon days.

Keep em coming Dad!

Stunning...Had a GTE in black mid 90's.....Wish I had it now.

Good enough for who it’s for and what they’re paying, I’d be happy with that, looks good to me, and you brought back those factory lines to the wheel arches nice and crisp well done 👍

This videos three years old already but funnily enough you did the the second side more like I might have done it, I assume you finished out the first side better than we seen in the video...

It made me laugh in my other comment I said I might have done it a little differently without being specific, and even though my comment is three years too late you did the second side more like I might have, who’d have thunk that could happen
😂😜🤣

I basically watched the whole thing start to finish, actually for second there I thought oh, hope you didn’t wrap the filler flap up in the masking and throw it out, but no out it came last little thing 👍

All together it was a good video with different ways to do the sill panels the was cool, nicely done mate, seriously. So much better than the bog monster who had hold of it first. So, yeah I was impressed in the end.

I was only following Mats BMW till now and wondering if it will ever get finished, not to be critical, I mean I see now how much more ambitious it has become and crossing my fingers it all works out, it would seem I haven’t seen all the videos on that but it was a long wait for the latest. But it’s all good I will catch up what I’ve missed, and after the Manta I might check out some of your others, cheers.

For structural stuff, even if the OEM panel is so rusted you can't replicate it, the least one can do is put a few breaks and beads in it to get strength out of it.
That's why I'm addicted to watching you work sheet metal Steve, your experience, even if stuff is completely gone you've done enough of most of the usually badly rusting makes & cars that you can replicate it anyway.
It's the way you put that OEM touch, doesn't matter if it's budget or not, the steel you put in is a match.

Structural strength aside, the owner of this Manta is probably very happy with the performance increase too, now that it doesn't have 30 metric tons of filler on it 😁

Had an 1981 one of the last of the original Manta Bs a SR Berlinetta in white but with the original Opel alloys, only car I ever regret selling.

These early steel bumpered Manta B coupes are lovely. Nice to see this one get a new lease of life. Well done.

Great job and what a stunning car the Manta is, always loved the look of them.

I love videos like this, watching real masters at work...no unnecessary talking.
I like !

Opel/Vauxhall is one of those underrated brands. They produce many little cars with a lot of personality. That Manta looks great after all that sweat & blood sacrificed for it. Great job.
