Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has been getting loads of new tracks over the past year. In this video, we’re taking a break from Mario Kart Wii to take a look at all of the Wii tracks that have been added to MK8DX (so far). We even get the wonderful surprise of a classic, iconic shortcut making an unexpected (but very appreciated) return. Thanks, Nintendo!

This is an extreme warning. If you click this link, you’ll be exposed to Mario Kart Wii videos that are so cool, you might never want to stop watching them. Proceed with extreme caution!

The cars in Coconut Mall actually move in every mode except for time trials. Also, the first mushroom shortcut can be done without a mushroom on mushroom gorge. You have to drift into it at a certain angle.

Funky kong got actually added in mario kart 8 deluxe

@JessiGlaser416 2 years ago

0:32 Funky Kong but he's more Funky than kong

@rubylikessonic2 3 years ago

I think lactitu is so aggressive when picking you up is because it's programmed so if you stray too far from the road he picks you up, no matter if there's a death trigger or not

THEY ADDED FUNKY KONG TO MARIO KART 8 DX DLC LETS GOOO

@PrestonandTom9337 3 years ago

Shy guy cars will hurt you and move in non time trials.

@magmarxiogaming6717 3 years ago

the wii tracks this wave were great, DK summit and Waluigi stadium were perfect and utilized the half pipes to their fullest

@B0ssguy 3 years ago

9:03 my favorite part of this remake is that there's an obvious hole in the leaves where you'd think the characters drive through, but nope, you through the leaves below that random hole. the perks of porting the tour models of tracks where the physics aren't the same (you do go through that hole in tour)

1:08 its a noki from mario sunshine

@siggewede1917 3 years ago

I love that they bring back the shortcuts but the difficulty is so nerfed that it makes them a thing you do every lap instead of the high risk high reward we have in mkwii

@hiHiHiHiHiHiiiiiiiiiii 2 years ago

24:59 Nintendo: Ok lets give wii rainbow road a half-pipe skip and gap jump and make daisy circuit beautiful, and make moonview highway just be timetrialed by max speed, and add funky kong

@lumi_curse 2 years ago

I love how he uses the slowest vehicle and fastest wheels and glider

@the-inatorinator 2 years ago

1:36 His name is actually pronounced "Kom-Ek," and I'm only pointing this out because it sounds like "Comic Book Store" and that needs recognition lol

2:46 this vid got recommended to me again. Rewatching this and this was literally foreshadowing fast food yoshi’s in mkw 😅

@j.mes09 2 years ago

That was the most genuine "oh." i've ever heard 10:05

The ending of waluigi stadium on deluxe is more like the ending on the original on Double Dash. So I think it is totally fine.

@vergilthealphaandomega8189 2 years ago

Aside from how it looks, Walugi stadium is also probably the most tech-heavy track in the game, which also makes it really cool from a competitive standpoint
