Thank you for your help, Jorvic. I am a struggling art student myself and I'm trying to improve my techniques. I really don't wanna fail and have to resort to something else. My graduation will be all thanks to you!
Jorvic; Thank you for sharing your perspective cylinder’s drawing…. I learned this back in the 80’s and forget these little tricks. Was trying to draw some steampunk goggles and they were looking all wonky. Back to the drawing board!!!
Erm...(know-it-all finger in the air, setting down my hot pocket with the other) If you use diagonal vanishing points, or even one d.v.p., you can make a square cube. I was practicing cubes and reading out of Vanishing Point: Perspective For Comics From The Ground Up. It gets tricky at the bottom of the page, where it came out elongated. I just went an inch up to make another cube, by miracle got it right, and then projected that line as a main construction line up and down the page. (Picking hot pocket back up, going to Reddit to know-it-all someone else, because that's what Reddit is apparently for). End Rant.
