I take a glass pie plate put water and dish washing soap place the plate under the night light and watch the fleas jump to the light and fall in the soapy water.

Trick from the 1980s....from a vet. Add a couple of moth balls to your vacuum cleaner bags too.

Use a cookie sheet, large plate, I used a Frisbee and a lamp of some sort. You can use a desk lamp but I used a small USB LED flashlight head on a long USB cord. 2 minutes after I put the water in there were 3 fleas and 10 minutes later there were 20. A half hour after that there were maybe 50 in there. The light does work.

Fleas are not attracted to sugar, salt, OR water. You would catch more with a bright light than that cap of liquid 😬

This will not attract a single flea as there built to sense warm mammals lol but you certainly do have a fly infestation 😅 maybe but some mice traps down and Hoover now and again lol

Clear  bowl with soap and water  put Clear  glass in water put flash light  on top of glass pointing into water turn off light. Tomarrow looks like pepper in bowl.get trapped by soap light attracted. I flipped houses

I’ve always regularly use spot on for my cat and he’s an indoor only cat and since I moved home have found he has fleas I was told they were already here so the movement of furniture has made them emerge basically they were waiting for a host 🫣 it’s a nightmare I’ve constantly sprayed everywhere and never stopped treating my cat but still can’t seem to stop them 🤷‍♀️

I appreciate all the tips from all of you i have tried just about everything.  Yet the problem just gets worse . The fleas become immune so quickly to anything i use . I keep a regular routine for my cat and flat and i put a flea collar on in between the regular full body treatment i change treatment when i notice it's not working as well as it was . Hopefully your various adaptations will of fleatraps based on warmth and light will at least help keep the problem down.  There seem to be so many flea ridden mogs hanging around the garden lately.  I wish others would try keep the problem down with their cats too . Unless im being unfair and we're all dealing with superfleas now. I mostly think how unhappy the cat must be if im finding it so hard 😊
