Today we sit down with a barbarian from Brockton, Massachusetts: Shawn Simmons, creator of Wayne and Eenie Meanie. We dig into how the savage spirit of Conan courses through the DNA of the show, how he pulled off a special live-action appearance by the Barbarian himself, and where he wants to take the story next in a sequel.

I am from Russia. In my country, the series Wayne is extremely popular, and it is always included in lists of the best TV series, especially among teenagers. Thousands of people are waiting for a continuation, including me. Thank you for this podcast, it was interesting to hear more about Conan and the parallels with Wayne. Russia is waiting for a continuation! Wayne forever.

I'm sad Wayne never got a second season. Following up with Wayne after bingeing Shameless was so satisfying. Finding out after it's release, after enjoying every second, that it was cancelled was a huge kick in the nuts.

As a mma fighter and future ufc fighter, I always go by the motto "Barbarism must always triumph!"

When I watched Wane I loved the little Conan references but when Conan finally shows up and quotes the original Robert E. Howard stories I was blown away. So cool to see this show get the praise it deserves!

13:31 I know this story, too. I had a great father. Part of that was him breaking a cycle of violence. I miss him.

I’ve watched Wayne, based on your recommendation, just to see the Conan cameo and I have to say, yeah Derek Theler really is perfect to play Conan.
They should try to get him for a short film, see how he goes
