Thank you DK. The game looked slow paced and they didn't play well. They spent more time defending on their own side of the ice. Great show DK.

I was at the game last night and all I can think whenever I watch them with the puck was they looked uninterested. I couldn’t believe how many times I saw these passes that were going to no one or the passes that went straight onto the stick of the Winnipeg players. When I was in the arena on Saturday it was like a completely different team was playing than the one last night. I hope they figure it out because I know that the real team is not who was playing last night.

I think the best thing for a goalie is to not have the team play that horribly in front on of him.  That was a horrendous display from most of the skater and our goalie was the only thing keeping us in that game.

I think Ovi's retirement announcement hit the team hard. Made them remember they were old too. Fumbled the puck, slow, and third. . . , I can't remember.

Last year Muse was praised about the younger players for letting them make mistakes and keep playing. In hindsight - thats a lot easier to do when there isnt this level of depth to the roster.
Will Muse make good moves for team dynamics and chemistry? And how quickly?

Hollander and Soderbloom not playing is tough to swallow when Koivunen and Robertson are being knocked off the puck the way you and the radio announcers have described.

Per Colby Armstrong four posts and one crossbar 🤘🤘

Dump and chase was working every time they tried it. They just didn’t try it enough. That’s a coaching issue.

I’d love to see what Kindel and Rust look like together. Karlsson was abominable last night. So what exactly will it take to get Edvinsson to town? 😂

I would still like to see BRust have his own line, as long as all lines continue doing a good job.
Mistakes are better than being afraid to make a play. This team is not going to win many if it only scores 2 goals a game.
The game is for 60 minutes. You cannot have dessert until you've eaten everything on your plate. We cannot let anybody up for air.

Yes five times the puck hit the iron

I know its only the 3rd game in, but I noticed that Geno looked really out of place in terms of keeping up with the speed of the game. With that look and what Dubas said about possibly mitigating Geno this year, do you foresee them maybe pulling Geno out to get other players in and give Geno a game off?

This game could/should have been far worse. Murashov was great and kept the Pens in the game, but the Jets hit something like 5 posts!?! This could have been a rout. They were pretty much all over Pens from puck drop. They were faster, quicker, and had a better transition game. The puck just kept finding them all night. Are they a better team than Pens? Not necessarily, but Pens need to tighten up their defense and gap control and stop fighting themselves. They just couldn't get it going last night, and part of that was the Jets were shot out of a cannon and never looked back. I still love the fight in this team though. Right up to the end. Pens just looked flat and the Jets gave them little to no openings.

If it wasn't for MURASHOV , it would have been 5-1 after 2 periods. He is the REAL DEAL

Uninspired hockey last night. Just an all out flat game for 80%. Onto the next!

what's that, 6 3rd period goals in the last 2 games? that was something from last year that I wanted GONE. sigh.

DK - I know I'll get pushback on this because you don't want to fix what isn't broken, but do you think it behooves the Pens to give Kindel a shot between Geno and Chinakhov for a game, or for at the very least a few shifts?

The Jets should have been the tired team having played Sunday afternoon but the Pens looked  like they were the  lifeless team.  Their passing was terrible, constant turnovers in their own end, looked like a lot of games from last season.  And then to finally tie the games and then allow the Jets to immediately retake the lead, another thing they did a lot of last season.  With the Jets hitting the post 5 times the game could easily been a blowout.

Right now I'm telling you having both letang and karlsson on defense is going to cost games. Karlsson was brutal yesterday. And him and letang have the same mindset. They try to make that high risk pass to create offense. And 40% of the time they'll turn it over for a break the other direction. One of them has got to go.

I  am willing to chalk that game up to an anomaly. But what do you get when you have way too many forwards and not enough players interested (or good enough) in playing D?.....THIS!  confusion. I thought the Jets were just a younger/faster team, but they are about the same age as the Pens. The Pens were sloppy and slow last nite.

I know he’s going through a lot, but Kuzmenko needs to be on the bench, he brings nothing to this team right now. Lapierre was  not good at all either. Those two out. Hopefully  Karleson wakes up because he was awful.
