In today's video, I’m taking on a unique challenge: letting the people of Portland, Oregon, choose where I eat for 24 hours! With the only rule being that I can't say no, I found myself sampling dishes from all over the city—from the bustling downtown to the vibrant hood and the diverse Chinatown.

I moved to Portland from NYC. Was terrified of moving to a “small town with no good food.” I have never, ever been more incorrect my whole life.

Jojos are a Portland/Oregon staple. You can get them in every deli in every supermarket. Done right, they are bomb especially with ranch.

I grew up in Portland. Food trucks and carts are illegal parked on the street, so for a long time they just weren't found here. Then someone came up with the idea of "pods"...parking lots where owners of food trucks and carts could legally park (and pay rent) and do business on a semipermanent basis, since it was private property. The idea spread, pods sprung up all over the city (and now the suburbs), they got fancier with the amenities added for customers such as tables and covered areas, and now they're a part of the city. Some of the best food in the city comes from these carts. For example...Want fish and chips? Try the Frying Scotsman food cart.

Yes, Yes, Yes.I am telling Portland is in a league of their own. They are not scared to tried new things,especially combining .fresh and new ingredients. We know other cities have great food as well.it’s not a competition. We are just giving our opinions… And having fun.
