This time, I went to Tomakomai.
I took a quick trip in search of delicious seafood bowls and hokki clams.

I had a shellfish bowl and a hokki clam set meal at Uokin Shokudo.
The shellfish bowl in particular was incredibly satisfying, overflowing with shellfish.

I also bought croquettes at the nearby Platt Minato Market.
There were also many seafood bowl restaurants and fishmongers here.

Lake Utonai, a wildlife sanctuary, is also a great place to enjoy the sights.
Swans and geese are said to be visible at this time of year, but unfortunately, none were nearby.
I did spot a Steller's sea eagle standing a little distance away,
but unfortunately, it wasn't close enough to see with the naked eye.
I'll definitely come back.
