I don’t believe there are any smoking areas in either park or the esplanade, or Downtown Disney at all. I haven’t seen a designated smoking location in years.
Honestly the tumbler one I can completely understand. That can be like a metal rock smacking your face. If you absolutely feel like you are so attached to your bottle, keep it at home. Or if you're like me, just have a strap for your bottle and set it off to the side. And thank you they are finally noticing the stroller issues! I've been at Disneyland when it was 95% capacity and it was more like Stroller Land than Disneyland
At least one detail is wrong. There are no longer any smoking or vaping areas inside Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, the Esplanade, Downtown Disney, or the resort hotels. To smoke, you must exit the security checkpoints and go completely off-property, such as public sidewalks along Harbor Boulevard, or just outside the gates of the Grand Californian Lobby/Car entrance.
Not out to not acknowledge that some of these things can be dangerous, but Disney promotes them, and then turns around with more rules. Going to the park used to be fun, spur of the moment, allowed the visitor to experience the magic. Now it’s way to expensive costs vs the benefit of choosing a Disney experience. Disney has chosen profit over people’s experience. It’s not just the parks, it’s their cruise line, movies regurgitated because Disney has chosen profits over creativity, it’s on their TV channel. It’s too much work to go, makes constant phone updates, and then charge you for the work.
Years ago, I went to Disneyland with my husband and I forgot I had pepper spray in my purse. I went over to the trash to throw it out. Unfortunately they said I couldn’t even throw it in the trash. I had to take it all the way back to the car lol. Not fun, but honest mistake.
As a former cast member I remember seeing a little girl shaking the hand of one of the seven dwarves and pulling the arm right out of it's sleeve. Needless to say, she freaked out. The character (cast member) calmly reached down and picked it up and headed back stage for some surgical repair.😂
An additional thought on Disney Bounding is you might run into difficulties when your outfit looks like what themed cast members wear. This could be a challenge with cast member gear that's inspired by the area. I wear a Banana Republic fedora, and after I wore a vest I bought in Adventureland, a cast member asked later in the day if I was a cast member… (despite other cast members wishing MY vest was part of their outfit, not the one they were issued).
