It’s obviously the dreaded Alpha Ovis

Thing is, king titan in game is scaled down by alot, the lore says the king titan is the size of mountains

This video has a fair point, but the King titan’s size does vary, considering in the prologue he is larger then mountains, whilst being the height of the clouds

those giant skulls in the devkit are actually manticore skulls! if you compare them to manticores, it is basically the same structure as their head but broken

For the Abberation skeleton I think it was some kind of Alpha of the giga that dominated the surface before Abb broke, and maybe fell into the lower regions, and eventually got trapped in the radiation zone before dying of rads or starvation

For the skeleton on Extinction I call it the Colossal Titan, and I'm sure it was put there for wow factor like how the Garg skeleton is in the lost river of Subnatica. It'd be cool to see someone mod a living one, but with Ark I'm sure PCs would blow up.

Potential lore idea for it would be it was a much slower and dumber titan. Much like how a lot of movie villans aren't the biggest guy, and instead that big guy is the dumb as dirt brute

Now, I heard this years ago, like before gen 1 came out so I forget the exact words or source, but I swear a dev said the skeletons were just for map design, and they were never living things in lore.

Honorary mention to Rockwell on Gen2

If Ark 2 ever releases, they need to add this creature!

On flojder if you telaport on one of the maps theres a skeleton so big it looks like its bigger then the mariana trench

The answer to "Who killed those creatures, King Titan and Oververver?" is the simplest answer, I believe, and very easily, because the manipulations of the two already...

I'd love to see someone mod those creatures into the game à la Return of the Ancients for Subnautica. Though I imagine there would be some rendering issues, especially when the Extinction skeleton looks like it could span across the whole map's length if it was a living, breathing creature.

Honestly they should bring whatever the skeleton is back to life as a new boss in whatever asa original story map is next

also the one in the fjordur's mosa underwater cave (i know it's not canon)

There's something in Aquatica called the Monstrocetus, which is basically a gigantic whale, although it doesn't move. You fight the Cymathoa, one of the bosses, inside its mouth. I've spawned the King Titan and Ice Titan near the Monstrocetus, and it is absolutely massive. There are also the Riftwalker, which is like a giant reskinned Oasisaur, and the Vulcanithys, another boss of that DLC.

6:15  what if it wasn’t a corrupted titan and just some normal animal

Forgot the shastasaurus even existed in this game

3:32 No, rather it is simply art, decorations made by the Overseer himself, and not a real creature.

Well…King Titan is still the biggest creature. If I remember correctly, the In-lore king titan is 300 meters tall, the one we se in the game is 100-150 meters tall.

Technically Rockwell Prime is the largest but thats by a huge technicality since the biomass across the corrupted ring is a extension of himself

But again technicality if you wanna count that kind of thing, his main body is more along the lines of the 3 Lieutenant Titans, still huge but not as big as larger creatures or even his Aberration form

I believe those are "Ark Bugs" so, when they print a new creature to estabilize the Ark (Carniv, Herb, Omni) but print something critical Wrong that dies at half
