As a long time Black Templars player, this is one of the best videos about them I've seen. Ever. Well done, Baldermort. Sigismund and Dorn would both be proud.

As a black templar player, I can confirm that you can NOT trap the Black Templars.

I was playing against a Thousand Sons player, and he deep striked terminators and sever smaller units behind my lines. My templars simply formed a circle in the middle of the map....

And charged.

His warlord, and half of his army was wiped out in one turn of shooting, charging and melee.

He was so appalled and astonished with how well the Black Templars worked in counter assaults, that he actually surrendered.

Ah yes, the Black Templars, who also go by their lesser known title: the Emperor’s Delete Button.

Grimaldus. The Astartes so stuborn, he talked an imperator Titan out of dying and continue fighting.

Other soldier: We are surrounded we need to take cover
Black Templar: You say surrounded, I say target rich environment.

Emperor: "I'm surprised one of those do not have the word 'Fist' in their name."
Rogal Dorn: "That is because they're absolute lunatics."

"The heraldic cross stands proud on my chest, where Astartes of lesser Chapters wear the Emperor's aquila. We do not wear His symbol. We are His symbol."
             - Merek Grimaldus, Reclusiarch of the Black Templars
✠ No Pity ✠ No Remorse ✠ No Fear ✠

Basic Traitor Astartes: Remember when your Primarch lost his hand?
Rooty Tooty Black Templar Shooty: Remember when your Warmaster lost his existence?

The narrator sounding exactly like how i imagine a black templar to sound like.

As a self proclaimed Black Templars expert I can say this is easily the most thorough and accurate lore video regarding the chapter I have seen, You have done the chapter proud.

Heretics: “Set’s trap”                                                         Black Templars: So you have chosen death.

The Black Templars fight for the original Crusade. To truly build up the Imperium. They deserve to be the poster boys more than the Ultramarines

"Horus"

"Yes Angron.."

Horus turns around looking at his brother, Primarch of the World Eaters

"The Loyalists have withdrawn from the walls.. But we dare not attack"

Horus looked.. Amazed beyond belief

"Why dont you attack Angron. Go. Now!"

"Sigismund.."

Angron nods and looks respectfully at the tactical holograms

"Yes.. Sigismund. He is on the walls. We shall not pass..."

I see Orcs of green
Tyranids too
I make them BOOM
For me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful war!

I came here after the black Templars killed sonic and friends

"We do not wear His symbol.  We ARE His symbol."  Perfect as always!

I can't paint while listening to this. It demands my absolute attention. It fuels my fervor. "BY BLADE AND BOLTER, FAITH AND FIRE. PURGE THE MUTANT, THE HERETIC, THE TRAITOR".

A man, after a campaign, walked to a Templar and asked:
What are you gonna do after this crusade?

The Templar casually laughed, then suddenly grabbed him by the neck, and bellowed:
THERE IS NO "AFTER THE CRUSADE"
THE CRUSADE NEVER ENDS

I like the Templar’s whole, “I’ll do what I want you’re not my Dad!” Shtick for 10,000 years. Especially now that our Spiritual lord Rowboat Girlyman is back

Been a Black Templar guy since 93. " All I have to say is.......

"No Pity! No Remorse! No Fear!"
