Wow man the tone on 'Incident' - the quote from Richard Rogers - I think this is the LS 6 and the Mesa Boogies already and even McLaughlin (who used them first in '73 I think?) did not make them do all this - I expect people who heard Mahavishnu or Santana wanted to make amps and PAs aimed for them, to help realize the dream - the emerald beyond, as it were.
